One AI balance. Many apps.

No subscription. You spend only what you use.

Each app needs your OK before it can spend.

Illustration: one balance of AI credit, used across four sample apps; each app needs your OK before it can spend. Your AI credit is drawn as a beam of white light; a glass prism (AI-Pay) splits it into four beams of different colours, and each one lands on a sample app (Notes, Translator, Meeting summary, Code assistant). Each time an app uses AI, a small amount comes out of that one balance.

For developers

Your users pay for AI from their own wallet. You don't pay a cent for their model usage.

No payments to wire up. No model keys to hold. No model bill.

This free Beta is invite-only. Test credit is arranged with each invitation. Payments and top-ups are disabled.

Once invited, create an app to get its client_id — AI-Pay uses a public client with PKCE, so there is no client secret.

  • Resending the same request with the same idempotency key does not execute or charge it again.

Common questions

Is it free?

AI-Pay offers free, invite-only Beta testing. Only invited email addresses can register and use the service. Invitations follow a discussion of Beta limitations and data risks. Payments and top-ups are disabled; test credit is arranged with each invitation.

Where can I use the credit?

Inside apps that have integrated AI-Pay; there is currently no public app directory. Beta test credit only pays for AI usage through AI-Pay and cannot be withdrawn, transferred or exchanged for cash.

Where do I set the limit? Can the app change it?

After you choose “Sign in with AI-Pay” in the app, AI-Pay’s own consent page opens. You set the limit there; the app cannot change it. You can adjust it in AI-Pay at any time.

Can I stop an app at any time?

Yes — you can pause or revoke an authorization at any time. That stops new AI usage; requests already dispatched may still settle under their original rules.

Does the app learn who I am?

An app receives an app-specific pseudonymous identifier; different apps cannot use it to correlate the same user. Your email is provided only when you grant that scope.

What happens to my prompts?

Prompts and responses are sent in plain text to the model provider (today mostly OpenRouter and the provider it routes to). This is not end-to-end encryption, and retention policies differ per provider.

Which models?

Dozens of text-only models, mostly routed through OpenRouter. The live list and prices are on the Models & pricing page.
